Mrs B's classes are an awesome bunch at Mount Hutt College Methven. We use our weebly and blog pages for communication between home and school and a place to share our ideas and photos. 8ZA- completing your Careers assignments and if not completed your Ultimate Challenge task work.
Homework week 6
7Br- list the names of the countries involved in the Cricket world cup in the same pool as NZ. Use the Extra paper to help you. Find them on the world map and be able to identify these places and the countries' flags next week in a POP quiz.
You do not need to draw the flags or make a map just be ready to be tested on locations and the flag for each country.
Complete the mapping pages in your extra. Both the world map and the New Zealand map.

8ZA- Complete the research part of your careers work. You will have 2 weeks to complete. Listen in class about presentation and use the rubric as a guide to what will need to be included.
Homework Week 5
7Br- Design your own New Zealand flag. Think about what colours you could use and why. Think about NZ icons that could be included. Draw or create your flag in colour then write a short explanation on why you have included the features you have. Try to use the words; symbolise, represent and icon where you can.
eg. I have used bright green as a background to represent the green forests and paddocks of New Zealand. we are thought to be the "Green" country so I think this should be included on a new flag.
You may draw or use your DGT skills. Due next Monday.
